Hi -
There's a lot of info about the benefit of feeding fresh cloves of garlic to chickens and I'm interested to know if I can feed mine but in the form of softgel. I currently have a bottle of garlic softgels with 10 mg of odorless garlic per softgel. However, this softgel also includes other ingredients: soybean oil, gelatin, glycerin and silica. I thought this is a bit more convenience way to feed garlic.
Will someone or anyone let me know if this is ok for my chicken/ I was planning to cut open the softgel and mix the content with the mash to feed them. My guess is the fresh clove of garlic is a much better option, but I'm wondering if it's ok for me to use the one as in softgel form.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!
