Fertilized egg?

Hi. Not sure the nest way to explain this. Just got new hens and wanted to breed them with my rooster asap but worried what roosters they were with before I got them. How long should I wait to be sure her eggs are fertile from my rooster and not from previous roosters? ???

i think hens can hold sperm for up to 2 weeks, so if you know they havent been mating for the past 2 weeks then you should be fine
