Our Middle School Science class and FFA members hatched eggs 3/22/23. I did the 'wing shape' guessing game to 'pick' pullets. I'm going to post pictures and the age they were at the time. I'm stumped on what the parents are. These eggs were literally 'barn yard' finds Lol Curious what my BYC friends might think?
There are 4 chicks. 3 dark and one yellowish. I chose only the large chicks so these were more than 2x the size of what I thought would be the small hatched banies. My current Roo is a hearty 10lb Lavender Orpington. Wanted ladies that could take his weight and hatch viable eggs in future if we desire to grow the flock more.
Have fun with breed and sexing answers! Your guess is better than mine!
