So far, 5 quail have hatched. So I don't have to worry about 1 being so lonely. And I guess eggs are more resilient than we might think they are. Hatching these eggs has really been a learning experience for me

This was my 1st time ever, but I'm sort of happy by the results. Think I can see why some people are addicted to this

Where did you get your quail eggs? I want button quail and am looking for good eggs.

I bought my eggs from from this guy:

You can buy them in quantities of 25. I only say 8 fertile, and 3 dead embryos out of 25. It was either the bator I was using, or low fertility due to season. But maybe you'll have better results. Hope you have a better hatch rate than me.

But then, again, I was only hoping for a small amout to hatch. I think if I actually turned them more frequently and kept them in my home made bator, they may have actually grown more.
