Story time!
This morning, when I went to clean the roost, I found this in the corner of the coop. I was so excited.
It's got to be Atlas's egg, because Atlas is the one with white lobes. Ortiz is a Speckled Sussex, with red lobes, so her eggs should be light brown, not white. I was surprised that Atlas laid first, Atlas is so much smaller than Ortiz.
I compared her egg, on the left, to one from the store. I'm proud.
Here's the one that laid the egg, Atlas. I just took this, and it's definitely not the best picture of her, but I can only get her to hold still when she's drinking.
