First Eggs!!! 10/29.2015

We got our first eggs today!!!! They are rather small...is this what I can expect from these hens, or will they get larger as the hens mature?

Congrats! Usually, hens start out laying small eggs, and after a couple weeks they get much bigger (even giving two yolks).

Congratulations! It's always so egg-citing getting those first eggs. :eek:

) The first eggs are always small, but they will get larger over the next few weeks as your pullet matures some more.

Congratulations on the first eggs! Egg size varies with each bird, but they usually do get larger as a hen matures and molts.
