First time chicken owner. Is Iris a Pullet or Roo?

This is Iris she is 3 months old and a very nice chicken. Our family loves her and friends dig her rocking hairstyle!
My hope she's a hen my town doesn't allow roosters in city limits.

This makes no sense. A cock is an adult male chicken, a cockeral is an immature male chicken under one year
A hen is an adult female chicken, a pullet is an immature female chicken under one year,

The bird pictured looks like a pullet.
