First time with chicks

Thank you. I've had chickens for 4 yrs now but these are my first chicks. I love all my girls and my husband likes them so it's a nice hobby we both enjoy.
He would never admit it but I have heard him going into the room where the brooder is to visit the diddles.
I think they are all girls at least that's what they sold me. My husband is hoping for a rooster .
