ThiS is the first time I have had a chickens to go broody. I got 4 eggs out of the 20 she laid. 3 of the four the light from the flashlight went straight through; however, the four one the light didn't even went through. Therefore I can see inside the egg. What does that means? She is a jersey giant if that helps.

Well, sounds like you might have a fertile egg. Usually after only a week you still have a pretty clear egg but with veins and a tiny developing chick. Maybe that egg is further along than you think? About the beginning of 3rd week is when you have a full egg - all taken up with the chick inside. After a week, honestly, I wouldn't give up on those other eggs that seem to be clear, because maybe they just have not developed yet. And if the egg you are trying to see thru is darker colored than the other eggs, it can be difficult to see anything unless you have a really bright flashlight. One thing for sure, time will tell.
