Foaming in the eyes?

It is extremely bitter here in MN today and I went outside to do chores and noticed one of my Buff Orpingtons had what looked like white foam on her eyes. She's behaving normally and can move her eyes. What is this?

My first reaction would not worry about it we have birds that do this when we putt new being in or in the cold. Could just be a minor irritatedirritated eye, we wipe them out and sometimes we use some contact saline solution to wash the eye. Just a couple of drops works

But it is worth keeping an eye on if it is something more
