Hi friends,
I am fairly new here and wanted to share my experiences. I recently hatched out shipped coturnix quail and i got 8 hatched out of 12. I decided to order some button quail and celadon and i am currently on day 4 of a dry hatch with 18 button and 6 celadon. Humidity has been steady between 26% and 30% Temp has been at 100 . I plan on candling on day 9 and will keep you updated .I am very excited for this journey. If.you have amd tips im all ears. I will.keep

Yes i love it. Not sure what coloring they will be so that makes it much more exciting

Day 9 candling. 3 of 18 button are not I'm fertile and 1 of 6 celadon is Unfertile

Will be following how this works for you! What is your plan if humidity falls below a certain number? Or does it matter? I have an empty incubator reading around 16%. Considering a dry hatch, but I’m thinking that may be too low? The air may be too dry in my house.

It hasn't got lower then 2% so far but if it does you can add a tiny bit of water. I'm going to raise humidity to 55% on lockdown.
Have you calibrated your hygrometer?

I meant 25%
