Food all night?

Just got my baby chicks 2 days old . Do I leave the food in the brooder all night or take it out and put it back in the morning . (These little ones have been eating off and on all day and have nice bumps on their chests which I assume is a full crop . )

Are they Cornish Crosses (meat chickens) or regular laying breeds? If they are regular breeds (anything but meat chickens) then leave the food/water in all the time.

If rodent control good then leave it out overnight. Otherwise pull feeder out over night and put it back out when lights back on, My brooder birds have a red heat lamp 24 / 7 with a fuller spectrum light on 16 hours each day. Most feed consumption occurs when white light on while when off birds mostly sleep even though they can likely see.
