I decided this evening that the chickens had been confined to their run long enough. So I opened up the door and stood back. At first they were a little apprehensive about their new found freedom, but once they realized this new opportunity meant new found dirt to scratch and grass to eat they never looked back.

When I bought part of someone's bantam flock a while back they'd never left a small corral in their lives. I got them and well, they became chickens, and I love it.
