Do you still need a strongly fortified coop inside the fencing if you use Feathernet? Ideally, I'd like to use a lighter weight chicken tractor inside the fencing so I could move everything myself once every day or two, but I'd like to know if determined predators could still get past the netting into the coop.

I don't know about Feather net, I use Premier's electrified poultry net. But, no ground pred gets past my fence. Though the chickens have to be on the lookout for hawks and other airborne threats. You could probably get away with a lighter duty coop, if it's surrounded with a good electrified poultry net that is properly set up.

Awesome. Thanks! I was just looking at Premier's website today.
