Found my hen dead =(

I just found my favorite hen fallen over dead in the coop. She had been going through what I assumed was a terrible moult. So, she hadn't been laying eggs either. No idea how old she was... but I examined her body and found bright green poo and what looked like a prolapse. I just want to make sure she didn't have something contagious.

I am so sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to me today. Betty wasn't molting she was fine eating and going to the bathroom went the house for a 1/2 hour when to give them a treat she was dead no feather loss no cuts
