Free range in the orchard?

My husband and I would like to allow our chickens to free range in our pranced. Our question is this: will they eat the leaves on our bushes and trees? We already know they will eat the fruit/berries.

Yes. Chickens explore the world with their beaks. Its likely they will at least *try* some leaves. and then, if they are like the roughly hundred birds I've had thus far, promptly ignore them. Mine don't like citrus leaves, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry or grape leaves, they arent fond of squash or melon leaves (but do devastate both the flowers and the fruits!). I have thousands, maybe ten thousand blackberry flowers on the property right now - looks to be a bumper year. Goats love them (and the new leaves and canes), chickens won't touch them.
