Not on purpose but..
I had two insidences where quail I was raising in my house got out in the yard with my chickens.
First was a house quail, Hardy, who had been successfully integrated it the outside quail pen. He decided he needed to get away for a while and I found him sunning himself far from the madding crowd (behind the coop).
Second was my white girl, Nilli Vanilli. She got off the deck and I found her sunning herself under the deck.
So all was good but maybe because both had been hand raised and were comfortable with me as well as the chickens and environment such as the yard by viewing it.
