I have four Silkie bantams that are currently four months old and thier daily scedule is that they go out and free range at 12:00 just after I wake up and then I gather them and then they come back into thier coop/brooder in the garage at 9:00-10:00 when it turns dark outside. So they are used to going outside during the day and coming into a coop at night, the only thing is that where they sleep is in our garage and they have been going in there at night since they were two weeks old (it is really big, btw) and it is time for them to go in a real coop outside and sleep outside. Any suggestions and information on how to transition also, do I put anything in thier nest box like hay or something. I would appreciate websites with information on this subject to. Thankyou!
