Kongo pawed playfully then did what he used to do with Mark; he reared and danced forward on his hind legs.

Black Ice scrambled to her feet, galloping after Dusky. She didn't steal a glance back to see if any more wolves were following; she only ran.

Ash galloped as quickly as she could, though she still lagged far behind.

Flare sniffed but had little interest in what Ace was eating. Deciding on the spot, she turned to present Ace with her rear, her tail held out of the way.

Cinders appeared to be engaged in a fight with...herself. She was biting then kicking at her belly. Contractions were rolling through her, and she didn't like them one bit.
