Galvanized Steel Storage Shed as a coop option?

I am in the market for a new coop and was wondering if anyone has used the galvanized steel storage shed as a coop. I am on the East coast, NY state. I’ve seen some use open sheds for horses to get away from the wind and rain. I just wanted to ask if anyone has used it and if it worked out? I know I would need to insulate it, ventilate it and add windows.

We are currently in the process of building our new coop out of an 8 x 10 galvanized shed. We are building a platform 2 feet off the ground to assemble it on, also adding windows. The only problem with these sheds is they are paper thin so they need to be secured to a base & reinforced for winds and insulated against the cold. We looked at other options and this was the best for us.
