This bird was given to me but even the previous owner was not sure of the breed. He was only about 3-4 weeks when I took him and I still can't quite tell what breed it might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Red shoulder Yokohamas can come in all shades of red depending on breeding.It can't be a red saddled Yokohama since it had a single comb not a pea comb, and the red is not as dark as that of a Yokohama
I agree that it's red saddle is not a dark as that of a show quality Red Saddled Yokohama, but the comb does not look like a straight single comb to me in the pics. I'm thinking that this bird is either a poor hatchery quality Red Saddled Yokohama or a Red Saddled Yokohama mixed breed.It can't be a red saddled Yokohama since it had a single comb not a pea comb, and the red is not as dark as that of a Yokohama
