I had a hatch (wheaten) rooster that breed with our RIR we use to have before we moved. I never hatched out any of her eggs but I wish I had of. We just stuck them in the fridge.


Had a silkie rooster breed with a wheaten hen once. That turned out quite interesting. This was her chick.

This may not be RIR x but here are 2 we tried. Only 3 months old so we have yet to see what their final look.

I am doing it with American Dominiques. Now about 6 generations into the project. Doing some select for traits pulled from games that will make a product more like descriptions of American Dominique prior to addition of Black Javas to make skin color yellow and splitting from what would become Barred Plymouth Rocks.
