Gender and Breed Quiz (For learning purposes!)

This link is a good one for predicting the colors of chicks based on the color of the parents. Sometimes crossings can produce sex linked chicks where you least expect. I had my columbian orpington rooster over my buff Orpington hen and according to this link , yellow or golden chicks would be males, silver chicks would be females. Cool,isn't it?

Ira an Austrian breed. Has Cochin and dorking in the mix, though feathered feet and 5th toe were bred out. Made a good come back in Europe from near extinction. Lays light brown eggs

Wow, that's one funky looking chicken. Love the top knot. I'd say hen.
