What do you get from bourbon red x rio grande? Blue slate x rio grande? What are possibilities of cross 1 x cross 2, or 1x1 2x2 or either x back to rio grande? I know thats pretty complex but any info would be cool

Wild turkeys are basically undomesticated standard bronzes. Bourbon reds are st bronze with two red genes. This cross will produce red bronzes.

Blue slates are black based with a single dominant blue gene. All offspring will appear black based, and half will get the blue gene, so half will look black and half will look blue slate.

When you start crossing back to each other, there are many possibilities. You can get black based or bronze based birds with zero, one, or two blue genes and zero, one, or two red genes for 27 different gene combinations that will show as something like 12 different colors, maybe more.
