I was wondering, if I get a pullet or an an adult silkie hen if she would be comfortable around me and tame quickly so she could follow me around and cuddle with me and all that jazz. Maybe a silly question but I wanted to see if anyone wanted to share their experiences with this..were they homesick for long? Did they tame and love your right away? I wanted to get some hatching eggs and or day old chicks but I was nervous about them not growing up to be show quality so I am interested in getting pullets or silkie hens now and was worried they might be distant since I wasn't their with them growing up.
