Oz, is it purely rice hulls? Did you mix any organic microorganism to it?thanks Dave. Keep the articles coming
Our litter costs are zero as we get rice hulls for free. I have them changed monthly and they go into the compost pile.
On their own rice hulls are very slow to breakdown buy in a hot compost environment, along with pig poop and sawdust, The can be ready to ammend a garden in 6 weeks.
in the coops its rice husks - normally milled just a few days/weeks before.Oz, is it purely rice hulls? Did you mix any organic microorganism to it?
A hint would be nice, can/should I do a google search?Hahahahaa, sorry about bringing that pic up, well I'm sort of sorry.
If it makes you feel any better you are not alone. Yesterday I snapped a pic of my wife on FB, she had dozed off with her phone in her hand and her thumb would occasionally move and keep the screen active, the kids and I were in silent hysterics watching on.
Hope you are having a good day all the same.
