Geuss the breed of chicken!

I dont care what anyone says but the bird before the bcm was not a lincolnshire buff. First it had no black on its tail or wings , secondly it was not the right colour or eveness of colours and third it had the wrong shape

The photo was taken from feathersite under the Lincolnshire Buff heading and was credited to Roseawen farms. Here is their website: http://roseawen.co.uk/
There was no listing of the breed standard but this is what they say about the breed: An old breed circa 1850, bred for the table and eggs, but it died out after the Buff Orpington became more popular. The breed has been recreated using Buff Orpington/ Dorking and Cochin crosses and was standardised in 1997.

Maybe the photo is one of their first crosses as they redeveloped the breed? Perhaps you could provide a better picture of a hen for us to see?
