Girls still laying mid Feb 2016

Hi Folks, Happy to join this group. My girls are still laying and I'm in mid NH near the VT boarder. It gets pretty chilly up hear. A long time friend of mine from FL said they're still laying eggs because the girls-are-happy. I can thank this web site for information leading to this happy outcome. I feed them scratch at night - just a snack, fresh water every day - no exceptions. They get treats suggested by other members...yoghurt and blueberries, for example. Thanks for all the sage advice!!

If it isn't broke, don't fix it! Sounds like they are happy hens, don't let on that winter laying hens are a rarity, or they may go on strike. Welcome to Backyard chickens.
