Those are both female red sexlinks. Production Reds are a generic, solid red bird. Most hatchery Rhode Island Reds are actually Production Reds.I figured that was what happened. Not males at all. The one that you think has pointed feathers, is actually missing bits of those feathers. Look at the back feathering. All broad and rounded. Definitely female for both. The one with a redder comb is just a bit closer to being ready to start laying.
