I should have 3 new babies over the weekend. Then maybe i will see what they are. I think these eggs are from my blue "ancona" hen, so it maybe the next batch when i get to see if any are saxony babies.

First let me say they are too cute to be believed.

As for the second picture. Don't pull on it as it could cause bleeding and be very bad and painful for the baby. I am not sure myself what it is and I hope that someone else on here can help with an answer. Does it appear to just be stuck in the down or is it actually coming out of the vent. You might try just a damp wash cloth with warm water to soak it and see if it is just something stuck or not.
