i'm new to chicken keeping and decided to get fertilized eggs from my neighbor... i candled them on day 4 and all of them show no signs of life...why?

not sure what calibrated means,but she has Austrolorps,Day 4 is a little early... what incubator do you have, is it calibrated? Does she have fluffier breeds?

I just saw this, i do know how to identify the bullseye but, i already disposed them, my neighbor said she'll incubate them herself and see if they'll hatch so i'll keep u updated if her eggs hatch or not, thank u!I would ask for a couple of freshly laid eggs and break them open to see if they were fertile or not. Do you know how to recognize the fertile bullseye?
