I have my American Blue's from Holderreads laying eggs, just about everywhere, but hasn't made a nest. they have a nice big dog house with lots of straw but pull the straw out of the house and just lay eggs outside where every they happen to be.

What do I do now? I have been keeping them locked up. The trio are penned in their area, all together. Suggestions, please?

Oh, my Sebastopoles pair haven't started doing anything yet.....

I've heard that too much hay throws them off. Try taking some out and making a 'nest shape' with the hay really thin in the middle and see if they go in there and lay.

Thanks, at this point, any suggestion is worth trying. Right now, there is hardly any straw left in the house, they took it all out and are laying eggs outside, just on the straw covered ground.

Mine take all of the hay out as well.

Mine like to make their own nest...so maybe just leave it alone and they'll put it where they want it. The eggs don't have to be inside, the goose will cover them when she gets off the nest. If they get wet it won't hurt them unless they are in a puddle of water.
