Hello!

I think that the green legs are normal and it’s just a characteristic of the breed. It’s probably too early to tell for sure if it’s a cockerel or a pullet, but you also can’t see the comb in the pictures, which is often a tell-tale sign that helps to identify the gender. Are you able to take a couple more pictures with its entire head in the photo, and also a couple with the whole body, from the side? That would help a lot.

Also, if it really is a cockerel, would you be able to keep him? As long as he’s nice and he’s not going to cause you to have to get rid of your pullets as well, I think you should try to keep him. He will likely be a very friendly little guy if you raise him the right way! :)

We likely don't have enough hens to have more than our big boy but we'll see. Here are some pics for ya.

The comb has the middle ridge that is more prominent and red, so yes, I would be surprised if it was not a cockerel. The pointy feathers are still a bit hard to determine. It won’t be long though. I am not the best authority on sexing, but EE cockerels tend to have more distinct coloring. The females tend to have the same type of coloring, and less flashy.

Thanks for the photos! I personally feel like it is still too early to tell, but I am leaning more towards a cockerel than a pullet.

So you all think I should give this one more time before I re-home? It's looking awfully cockerel to me 🤣...pretty sure its little buddy is one too 😑
