What would cause this green poo? Rooster unsure how old, but would guess 4-6 months. Polish. I can feel his breastbone pretty good. Seems otherwise ok. Haven’t seen and bugs on him.
If its really watery and green that is normally a sign that the chicken is not getting enough food. Does his crop feel large and hard? I would check his crop in the early morning to see if it's emptying like it's supposed to.
Sorry, I meant that he might not be digesting the food, like if the crop is impacted and not letting it through. Is the poop watery with small bits of green solids? It's hard for me to see in the photo.
Yes that’s what’s it seems like, watery with bits of solid. Few more pics, hopefully better ones lol. His crop doesn’t seem hard or impacted right now, but he feels a bit bony.
Sorry, I don't have a ton of experience with this. I'd see what others have to say. It might be helpful to separate him from the rest of the flock so you can monitor his crop and food and water intake. Hope he gets better!
Can you get some photos of him too?
Is the feed by any chance molded or has there been a spill and he's eating feed that may have gotten moldy?
I would re-check his crop first thing in the morning to make sure it's emptying. Look him over for lice/mites.
