Hello,
I just joined up today looking for some advice on some eggs we hatched! We live on a 6 acre smallholding with 28 chickens (at the moment - some are destined for the pot, we hope to hatch some more this year and no doubt the fox will get one or two as he always does), 4 ducks as well as pigs, bees, 2 horses and cats. This year we are adding some sheep and maybe turkeys.
We also have a 2 year old and a 4 month old!
The chickens are a mix of proper breeds (cream legbars, Araucanas, Marans, buff Orpingtons) and some mongrels and the ducks are Muscovies.
