Hi all! I have a large family who love raising animals (especially our chickens), living on the middle peninsula of Hampton Roads, Virginia. There are 8 of us altogether and we call ourselves The Fortune Hive!

About a year ago we built a VERY large chicken coop/run and began raising our 6 chickens. We have two Blue Wyandottes, a Black Sexlink, Silver Leghorn, Rhode Island Red, and a Buff Orpington.

We love our chickens, who have turned out be quite the layers, and are looking forward to learning and growing together among the wonderful local chicken communities.
