Hi and welcome to BYC! Good luck convincing the hubby! My hubby has nothing to do with the chickens, except building the coop and run. I'm in charge of feeding, changing the water daily and cleaning the coop/run. It's well worth it! I have very friendly chickens and I got my first egg a couple weeks ago.

Nicole01- Thanks! I am so glad to hear it is worth it! If I can go to my hubby with a plan of it will cost X per month and I build the coop and take care of the chickens myself, I do not think he will have a problem with it

He might think I'm a bit crazy at first, but that's been said before.
