Guess gender of 4.5 week old chicks

With comb growth my guess is cockerel. But I think it’s still a little early to be for sure..

Look at tail feathers, if the tip of the tail is kind of pointy/ sharp it is a rooster, if it’s round it’s a hen, you can also look for Spurs starting to grow.

Oops sorry bared and BO2. The other two may be pullets but it’s hard at that age.

I agree, I do feel like the Rhode Island’s a male cuz it’s getting the rooster feathers in on wings and tail feathers are kinda pointy

After re looking I think so to. But it still is early...

it has too big a comb and tail to be a hen

Thanks everyone. I’m pretty baffled myself on the barred rock because the comb is large but everything else leads me to believe pullet and the comb hasn’t turned pink/red. It’ll be fun to see what they actually turn out to be. I’ll comment with new photos in a few weeks!
