guinea fowl eggs are changing size...is this a problem?!

Hi I have kept a pair of guinea fowl for 8 months or so and started getting eggs maybe 2 months ago. But recently the eggs have started changing in size. I got a really big one the other day. And yesterday I found a perfectly formed, miniature one. The one in the middle of the photo is normal size (about 1.5inches) the tiny one is maybe an inch long or less.

Hi thanks for the links...I'll try giving them some more protein and see if that helps. They're all kept outside in the garden and get regular sunlight (6-6) but protein can be hard. There's no special foods available here so we feed them grain, veg and whatever else we can find.
