Is my Guinea a male or female?

Even if I were to venture a guess by a photo it's still too young, and even then it'd MAYBE be 2 out of 3 for accuracy. I had a couple with wattles like that I thought were males until they started making female sounds and laying eggs. Around 8 weeks or so the females start making their distinctive two-tone call, and around 12 to 16 weeks they wont' shut up until they find a boyfriend.
 
Guinea fowl cannot be sexed from photos. Sexing by the call they make works well. Females make the two syllable "buckwheat" call, males don't.
Thank you. I hope it’s female but if not that’s okay too. Can males live with chickens? Or would it be best to keep it separate from my hens?
