Guineas Killed

Alll our guineas were killed at a dog attack. Wahhhhh

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I just lost my call ducks the other day. There's nothing as discerning. My chicken flock looks barren with out them.

I'm so sorry, that's horrible! I'm surprised a dog could catch them all.

My dad has a young dog that likes to chase my guineas from time to time. They don't fly away, just try to run from him. If they would fly he'd probably give up, but they don't. So it's possible that these didn't fly away either.

mine might fly up in a tree but more then likely they would charge and try to rip the dog limb from limb

I'm so sorry! My dog catches them whenever they fly into his yard. They seem to panic, and instead of flying, they just run around, and he ends up cornering them. Luckily he just holds onto them instead of biting them. They lose some feathers, but that's it so far.

We have lost a couple to raccoons when they try to run also. I really don't understand why they don't just fly into a tree, but sadly, they just do not sometimes.

Oh, no, that's terrible. So Sorry. Our guineas don't fly into the trees either but tend to run as well. I think ours are afraid of heights.
