Hi, here's an update on this disabled chicken. He's a rooster now about one year old. He never made any noise (except for jostling the waterer when I passed to remind me to fill it ). He could hobble around on the floor but would get stuck in a corner. He seemed really hot in the coop, so I moved him outdoors to the quail hutch, overlooking the pond. For the first time he is making normal chicken noises (good morning crow, predator alert, food time, hen left outside). He watches everything.
