Good Morning Everyone!
We have about 60 Rhode Island Red eggs due today. My average hatch rate is only about 40% though. But that is still 25 chicks!
I think I'm messing up when I put them in the hatcher on day 18 or 19. I don't have a candler yet. It is very exciting though. I only started about 2 months ago and it's a blast!!

Well I hit 53%! That's 32 bitties. This is the first batch I've had that they were all identicle. LOL All of our eggs are from "barnyard" chickens. We are having growing pains with all of these chicks. That's a good problem.
