I lost sleep last night worrying about my soon-to-be chicks...oh boy.

Today is the 13th day I have been turning my coturnix eggs. When exactly do I stop? Tomorrow morning, on the 14th morning? Tomorrow evening? The morning of the 15th day?

Secondly, the highest protein content I could find was 26% so I purchased that and plan to grind some for the hatchlings but is 26% enough? If not, do I try to find 30% or do I supplement with something else?

Brooder is nearly set up. Getting nervous about my precocious cat, but our tiny house hasn't a room he can't get into so I guess we will figure it out.

Also, my brinsea eco mini came with no cover cap. This was the best I could come up with that didn't seem to mess with humidity. Should I try harder? I don't wanna drown the poor little bumblebees.

Stop turning on day 14. Get your humidity up to 65% to 70%. Open all vents wide.

26% protein feed is just fine. You will probably need to crush it for the first week as some crumbles are too big for tiny babies to eat.

Good luck and keep us posted!
