Hatching at a higher altitude.

I have trouble hatching eggs but I'm also new at this. I have heard that eggs from a lower altitude has a different type of shell, so when you try to hatch at a higher altitude they don't hatch well. I'm at I believe 7800 foot hills in Colorado. Has anyone else had this trouble or heard of this. I have a still air but just ordered the Brinsea with out the turner that is suppose to be here on the 10th.
 
Someone had a detailed post on here somewhere about hatching at high altitude not sure where though sorry and Welcome to BYC
