Hatching Egg Question

I have one egg someone gave me because there hen gave it up i put it in my incubator 99.5 degree's i dont know how long the hen had been sitting on it but i candled it 3 days after i had it there was veins and i could see the chick moving around now 4 days later i have candled it again and there is only one little spot the light gets through and i can see a vein but the rest of the egg is dark is there a chance the egg is getting ready to hatch? thanks for anything you may be able to tell me

Yes, if it's mostly dark it's just about ready.

Take it out of the turner (if you have one) and put it on the floor of the incubator, make sure the humidity is 65-70% shut the incubator for 3-5 days (don't open it!) and see what happens!
