Hatching (Potential) Crossbeak chick--Correctable?

I hope you know which hen gave you that crossbeak chick cause she carries the genetic profile for that issue.

All her babies will carry that gene, some will develop crossbeak and some won't.

The chick hatching now that may be potentially crossbeak comes from a line I have been watching closely. It is from one of the originals who was killed by a hawk. Her daughter was the only egg of hers I managed to get a hen from, and she died later from egg block. I hatched one of her eggs before that though, and the hen that layed the egg hatching now is her daughter. I have never had a case of cross-beak in this particular lineage.
