have a floor idea

I have a dirt floor coop. I am about to build a new coop and here is my concept:

The back floor board panel is going to be hinged so that I can sweep "the stuff" out the back and off to the compost. Its a little extra work when building but I feel it will make things easier. Always sounds good in theory ( i know all to well ) but things could change once I put hammer-to-nail. If it works well I'll let you guys know and post pics.
