I was bitten over a freckle, I guess? IDK. There wasn't a wound until the little stink bit and twisted. I will say that I learned long ago not to wear open toe shoes if you've had a pedicure. They can't resist painted toenails.

Too funny, yes they do like shiny thing including toes, so far mine have been very gentle. They just run over and want to be picked up or go for a walk with me. They really are very entertaining.

YES. and any speck on your clothes! also my buff orpingtons like to eat my hair when i'm not paying attention..not sure why?.... LOL

I know that chickens are carnivorous and to be careful, but mine have been quite tame-ish and I've never given it a second thought. Ha! Thank you for the reminders.
