And happy first day of Spring!
I spent the day working on a new chicken tractor for my 6, 3 or 4 week old RIR pullets. (Note to self: Keep it small this time.)
I've come and gone from BYC a couple of times, and, well... I guess I'm back... If you'll have me.
When I gave away my flock of OEGBs, dismantled both coops, and started raising meat rabbits, I thought that, after 35 years, I was finally done with chickens.
But... as my brother tells me... "Every time Spring rolls around, you just can't help yourself. Can you?"
I'm really enjoying the rabbits, but they're a whole lot more work than chickens, and not near as much fun to watch!
